A HERS-SA Alum (2005), Dr. Ruth Muwazi has multiple competencies including but not limited to doctoral supervisor, at Makerere University; Quality assurance and auditing in higher institutions of learning, Makerere University; Proposal writing, Training Coordinator for the Multiple Entry-Multiple exit Skills programs at the Africa Institute for Strategic Animal Resource Services and Development (AFRISA); Deputy Principal (2012/3) of the College of Veterinary Medicine, animal Industry and Bio-security, Makerere University. Dr. Muwazi has served as HERS-EA Chair & Executive Director since its launch in 2014. She participated in the planning and founding of HERS-EA in 2014 and served as a Resource Person in The Inaugural HERS-EA ACADEMY (July 2017).
