The Covid-19 pandemic has reshaped how we live, interact, and work in ways we are only beginning to understand.
To reimagine leadership in the face of a global pandemic, HERS-EA is planning for a remote 4th Academy. While the event was initially planned to take place in Uganda led by HERS-EA East African Country Directors, the Academy will move online to avoid the recent Coronavirus surge.
As the world builds back better in 2021, HERS-EA is committed to creating an impactful, content-rich, inclusive virtual Academy that emphasizes continued learning, mentorship, and networking between presenters and attendees in East Africa. With this said, those present are not limited to Africa, with speakers and guests joining from the United States, Canada and beyond. We do not know what the world will look like in six months, but we’re pleased that our new 2021 Academy format gives us the flexibility to include voices from far and wide.
We hope you will apply to the 4th HERS-EA Academy to reimagine leadership in the face of a global pandemic. The event will take place from 5th – 9th July, 2021, with the registration deadline of 30th June.
