Mrs Renovate Irambona

Mrs Renovate Irambona is currently a professor at the University of Burundi, Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical and Social Psychology from the University of Burundi, a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) in Psychological Sciences and Education and a Ph D in Clinical Psychology (Specialization in Psychosomatics) from the Free University of Brussels (Université Libre de Bruxelles). She has 17 years of experience in university education in the Great Lakes Region (Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo). Mrs.

Rénovate Irambona was in charge of implementing the psychosocial service at the University of Burundi, a new service that had the objective of helping students in difficulty. Since then, she has been the chief coordinator of this service. Since 2001, she has also worked as an independent consultant in several areas: Special Education, HIV/AIDS, Gender Based Violence, Sexual and Reproductive Health, Comprehensive Sexual education of young people, Conflicts resolution, Community Development. Mrs. Rénovate Irambona is Vice-President of the Professional Order of Psychologists of Burundi.University du Burundi, Bujumbura, Burundi.
